Celem przedmiotowej monografii jest próba konceptualizacji sporu o prawa reprodukcyjne kobiet w Polsce w oparciu o trzy problemy: przerywania ciąży (aborcji), antykoncepcji (w tym antykoncepcji awaryjnej i sterylizacji antykoncepcyjnej), sztucznej prokreacji. Aborcja, antykoncepcja, sztuczna prokreacja wpisują się w dyskurs o prawach kobiet. Prawa reprodukcyjne stanowią przedmiot dyskusji i ideologicznych sporów. W Polsce prawa reprodukcyjne wzbudzają wiele kontrowersji natury moralnej, etycznej i religijnej. Wobec tego Autorki w sposób obiektywny i rzetelny starają się przedstawić różnorodne argumenty, które pojawiają się w sporze o prawa reprodukcyjne kobiet.
The aim of this monograph is to attempt to conceptualize the dispute over women’s reproductive rights in Poland based on three problems: termination of pregnancy (abortion), contraception (including emergency contraception and contraceptive sterilization), and artificial insemination. Abortion, contraception, artificial insemination are part of the discourse on women’s rights. Reproductive rights are the subject of discussion and ideological disputes. In Poland, reproductive rights cause many moral, ethical and religious controversies. The authors objectively and reliably present the various arguments that appear in the dispute over women’s reproductive rights.
